On Friday Brandcast Media had a team day out, shooting clay pigeons in the Oxfordshire countryside. We braved the morning rain showers with our wellies and waterproof jackets as we made our way out of London for a day at the shooting range.
After getting a hold of the gun, practicing our aims, and shooting lots of clay pigeons, we kicked off a competition between all the groups. The final part of the day was a flurry between four teams which involved many clay pigeons appearing and four of the group aiming to get as many as possible. The winning groups all got trophies, but the best award was ‘The Specsavers Award’ for the worst shot, which went to Jasset. Although he had the last laugh, as the prize included a free 1-to-1 lesson back at the range.
The sun made a welcome appearance around 1 o’clock, when we all headed back to Charlie’s farm for a scrumptious lunch and plenty of Pimms. Here are some photos of our day in the country:
