We at Brandcast Media are pleased to announce that we’re hosting an event for Social Media Week. This industry event takes place over the week of 23rd to 27th September 2013, throughout five continents including London, Los Angeles, and Mumbai.

Our event, Health is Social: Patient Empowerment or Confusion, is happening on the evening of the 25th September. We have lined up a panel of four speakers, including LBC 97.3 FM’s resident doctor, paediatric allergy consultant, two-time cancer survivor patient and the Digital Engagement Specialist from Diabetes UK. The session will be chaired by our Director of Healthcare, Stephen Dunn.

These are our panellists:

If you’re a healthcare professional, doctor, you use social media as a patient or you’re just interested in the future of the healthcare sector with social media, this event is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

By attending this event, we hope you learn about patients, healthcare and the use of social media and how it’s changing the way the industry is moving forward. We will discuss the risks and the rewards that can come from being active on social media within the healthcare sector. You will also get an understanding of how agencies, charities and health professionals use social media and how it is managed so that you can make the most of it.
